Strata Fundamentals Motions, Minutes and Meetings (General) explains what the role of a strata manager is in assisting a strata company achieve this purpose whilst maintaining good governance and compliance with strata laws and regulations.

The session will also provide attendees with techniques to facilitate a successful meeting and some tips on how to take and write minutes as a succinct, accurate summary of what happened at a meeting.

Strata Fundamentals – Meetings, Motions and Minutes is a Masterclass for strata managers wanting to fine tune their strata meeting skills and procedures.  The session will look at options for taking meetings online and how to perform virtual ballots, resolutions, pre-voting on council nominations and motions.

David Price the Master of Meetings will facilitate live AGM role plays chaired by two of WA’s most experienced strata professionals.  The role plays have been designed to tackle some of the trickiest scenarios strata managers experience when Charing AGM’s such as, difficult owners, unwanted guests, voting rights on the death of an owner and more.

The session will act out real life scenarios that will challenge your knowledge on quorums, resolutions, and other meeting procedures.   During the event there will be interactive Q&A through live polls and quizzes.
